Description

Weapon type: Multi-type launcher
User type: restricted to Glatorian or Toa
Maker: Unknown Nyriah Ghost
As the years have past, the purpose of the Arena Battles have altered their purpose. They had gone from fighting for resources, to fight for the honor of the village. Now with the harsh landscape that once was Bara Magna changed, the need to fight for survival was no more. However, many of the Agori, Glatorian, and even those of the Matoran universe enjoyed watching these matches.
Rules were changed, but the spirit of this blood sport almost remained the same. Now, the Glatorian and willing Toa enter this once bloody sport to see who among them where the best fighters, or to improve their skills further, they could come to the Glatorian sport for such glory.
With more passing time, the sport encouraged new weapons to be used, and one fan was a Nyriah Ghost who was commissioned to develop such a weapon to aid in the game. Enter the Duelist Launcher, a enhanced Thornax Launcher that could fire off the famous fruit, Zamor Spheres, and even channel elemental powers to shot out of this multi-purpose weapon. The Nyrian Ghost spent a good amount of time figuring out a metal alloy that could channel elemental powers, but it payed off, and soon many Toa and Glatorian came to him to ask for his weapon. The weapon soon became a staple of standard weapons in the Battle Arena, and many warriors don't leave home without it.

((This weapon design actually came from seeing another MOCist's creation. A young man who's weapons had a unique use of the thornax launcher part, and so from his barrel design, spawned my own version of his design.  As agreed, credit given where credit due.  www.mocpages.com/moc.php/36863…
